Freelance writer and graphic designer Celeste Heiter is a 30-year resident of the Napa Valley. A native of Mobile, Alabama, she holds a B.A. in Art and English from the University of South Alabama.  Celeste spent two years teaching English in Tokyo, where her son Will was born. Since her return to the Napa Valley, she has worked as a freelance writer and editor, and as a graphic designer.

Celeste is the creator of Chopstick Cinema, a daily blog of her adventures in Asian food and film, hosted by ThingsAsian.com. Each week, she chooses a film from a different Asian country, and creates a menu from the cuisine of that country. Celeste is also a food writer and her recipes are available for syndication to regional newspapers and magazines. 

Celeste also offers editing and design services specializing in both the written word and graphic design. She offers a full spectrum of services, including copy writing, text editing, service journalism, newsletters, press releases, book reviews, food reviews, personal interviews, how-to, health and human interest stories, as well as graphic design and publication layout. Celeste will design and compose something fresh and inspiring for your project, or polish your existing images and text and make them shine for publication.
